what is anr

safe farm

Your Graves County ANR Agent is one of only a few extension agents in Kentucky who is qualified to certify your farm as a Safe Farm Steward. This is a free certification provided by a project led by the University of Kentucky with the Southeast Center for Agricultural Safety and Injury Prevention that recognizes a farm's commitment to safety. Most agricultural injuries are preventable and occur from large equipment. In the daily rush to complete chores, it's easy to overlook something that could be potentially hazardous to yourself and others. It's always helpful to have an extra pair of eyes go over your equipment with you and point out future safety risks that could be an accident waiting to happen. Learn more about this project on the Safe Farm Steward website. Ready to get started?
