Graves County 4-H is always looking for positive adult and teen role models in the community to support our organization by volunteering.  Volunteers can lead clubs and teach classes, transport and supervise youth, help fundraise and publicize programs, provide mentorship and serve on councils, and so much more! No matter what your talent is, there is a spot for you in 4-H! Call today to learn  more about how to get involved!

What does 4-H offer volunteers?

Curriculum, Resources, & Agent Support:

Work with the 4-H agent to develop ideas, obtain curriculum, plan meetings, and market programs.

Leader Training:

Volunteer trainings are held at the county level for adult and teen leaders.

Certification Workshops:

Shooting Sports, Livestock, & Horse program volunteers must attend a certification workshop to become certified. The local 4-H council must approve a volunteer to attend a certification workshop. Volunteers are given training and materials needed for teaching these disciplines.

Kentucky 4-H Volunteer Forum:

Every two years, volunteers may attend the Kentucky 4-H Volunteer Forum in Lexington. Fun workshops and awards banquets make this a great weekend.

An opportunity to make a difference in the lives of youth in your community!

Volunteers must complete an application process and be approved to become adult and teen leaders. If you are interested in volunteering, please complete the following packet and return it to the Graves County Extension Office to begin the application process.
